COFFEE HQ (within FoodHQ building)

A gem for anyone serious about their coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious. It was rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. Ray, the barista and owner, is incredibly friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. He took the time to chat with us about coffee roasting, the beans he uses, and even tailored the coffee to our individual tastes. He talks you through his roasting choices, the origin of the beans, and even adjusts the espresso profile to suit your palate, whether you lean towards sweetness or a bold, bitter edge. I think I even spotted a bottomless portafilter in action. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does, and it really shows in each sip. Highly recommend stopping by if you love great coffee and genuine hospitality! I’d also recommend trying the matcha latte. Too often, cafés serve matcha that’s clumpy, too bitter, or drowned in milk and sugar syrup. Ray gets it smooth, vibrant, and balanced.

This is obviously one of the rarest coffee gem in the region! Every cup is prepared with so much care and attention to detail, feasting the eyes even before sipping the velvety smooth milk based coffee drinks. The Coffee Tiramisu is the perfect sensory coffee experience, combining coffee and dessert in a cup of multi layers concoction of mascarpone cream and espresso, making it a beautiful and creamy drink that is enjoyable to sip and dunk with the savoiardi biscuit. This is truly a coffee sanctuary worth exploring and returning!

Simply brilliant. Have been here a couple times already and each time I am amazed by how good the coffee is. Ray is a talented barista and coffee enthusiast, you can definitely trust him for your daily caffeine fix. Location is close to Massey and easy walk to get to/from for students. So glad I stumbled across this café, it's hard not to gatekeep this one.

Dropped by HQ for a pour-over fix and lucked out with ST. Ali on bar today. Tried their Kenya and Ethiopia — Kenya was bright with a refined tea vibe, while the Ethiopia was all blueberry explosion and super juicy. Ray nailed both brews. The real surprise, though, was the red honey processed cold brew he recommended. Smooth, naturally sweet, and way more layered than most cold brews. Light, refreshing, but still complex. Loved it.

This is the best coffee shop in town. You need to come here! I wish that I can give them more than five stars Absolute excellent service. Big shout out to RAY He was the best professional, accommodating, absolute best service! give him a raise

Coffee HQ has such a cozy atmosphere — bright, relaxed, and welcoming. Their iced coffee is perfectly balanced (strong espresso with smooth milk), and the presentation is beautiful! The staff are always friendly and genuinely care about making sure you enjoy your coffee. It’s a great spot to work, catch up or just unwind. Highly recommend stopping by!

I would definitely say the best coffee place in Palmy. This is my 2nd time visit and I love this place so much ! The matcha latte was perfect—just the right level of sweetness so it wasn't overpowering. The coffee’s aroma was absolutely flawless. And the tiramisu coffee was like enjoying both a tiramisu and a quality cup of coffee simultaneously — simply a perfect pairing. Will def come back

Been on my to do list for a little while. My visit today went above and beyond all expectations - hospitality at it's most sincere and warm. Ray, I think today I had the best coffee I have ever had from you. I knew you were good, but wow, your preparations were something else... I'm so excited to return very soon.
